What’s new here
Each integration lives in its own directory with its own manifest (plugin.yaml), dependencies (pyproject.toml) and tests, installed from a catalog that pins every entry to a reviewed commit. A fix to the Spotify plugin ships the moment it clears review; it does not wait for the next Hermes version. Plugins that used to live in Hermes core or in separate repos have been consolidated here, so one catalog entry per plugin is the single source of truth.
What it does
The repo holds twelve official plugins for Hermes Agent, each in its own subdirectory:
- Home Assistant: watches the event bus, controls devices via the REST API, exposes four tools (
ha_list_entities,ha_get_state,ha_list_services,ha_call_service). - Spotify: seven tools over the Spotify Web API covering playback, devices, queue, search, playlists, albums and library; playback control requires Premium.
- Claude Subscription DirectSDK (experimental): runs Hermes turns on a Claude Pro or Max subscription through the Claude Code CLI, no separate API key needed.
- Langfuse: traces every Hermes turn with one span, one generation per LLM call (cache and reasoning tokens included), and one observation per tool call.
- REA: reverse-engineering via REA’s MCP server, about 170 tools loaded on demand.
- Blender: the official Blender Lab MCP server over stdio, pinned to upstream, with a bundled workflow skill. Requires Blender 5.1+ with its MCP add-on.
- Snyk: SAST, dependency, container, IaC and SBOM scanning through Snyk’s MCP server.
- TouchDesigner: drives a live TouchDesigner session via 404.zero’s twozero MCP server, with 20+ bundled reference files.
- Telegram Business Mode, X Chat, Memory Wiki, Accent Picker: messaging, memory dashboard, and a Desktop theme tool.
Installing any plugin fetches only that subdirectory (blobless sparse clone), so installing Spotify does not download Home Assistant.
Who it’s for
Hermes Agent users who want to connect it to a specific service without touching the core install. Also relevant to plugin authors: the repo shows the full structure (manifest, register(ctx), pyproject.toml, tests) and is the reference for submitting to the Hermes plugin catalog.
Try it
Requires a working Hermes Agent install. Install Hermes first:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NousResearch/hermes-agent/main/scripts/install.sh | bashThen install any plugin by name from the catalog:
